Some shapes are chosen because they have always known where they belong.
CENDAVERA is a statement cocktail ring built around the navette — the oldest elongated marquise form in fine jewelry history, named for the ship's hull, designed to draw the eye inward along a central axis. At its face: a radiating petal composition in red ochre resin, each leaf precisely set within a milgrain-bordered gold frame.
Available in 18K or 14K yellow gold, satin finish. Face dimensions 30–32mm height, 12–14mm width. Shank width 5–6mm. Sized from a standard size 7 base across a full range. Made to order in 6–8 weeks.
. Everything else arranged around it.
The petal motif at the center references the rosette — a symbol found in nearly every major civilization from Mesopotamia to Mesoamerica, always carrying the same meaning: life organized around a center. Growth that radiates outward from something fixed. The rosette does not drift. It expands from a point of origin that it never loses contact with.
CENDAVERA wears that logic on the hand — a center that holds, and everything arranged beautifully around it. It is a piece for the woman who knows what her center is. Who has organized her life around it deliberately, not by default. Who reaches for something that speaks before she does, because she has earned the right to enter a room that way.
The red ochre resin was chosen for its depth and its earthedness — a color that reads as warm authority rather than ornamentation. It is the color of pigment, of ground, of the oldest human marks. It does not perform. It declares.
The red ochre resin is filled in two layers: a slightly deeper base tone applied first, followed by the surface color. This layering creates the tonal depth that distinguishes the piece from flat enamel work — the resin reads as having interior dimension rather than sitting as a surface application. The finished face is opaque satin, consistent in texture with the gold shank.
The milgrain border measures 0.4–0.6mm per bead, individually formed around the full perimeter of the navette face. Milgrain at this scale is worked by hand after the resin is set — the sequence is casting, finishing, resin fill, then milgrain. Reversing any step compromises the one that follows.
Shank width: 5–6mm. Shank thickness: 1.8–2.2mm — substantial enough to anchor the face without overpowering the hand. Face dimensions: 30–32mm height, 12–14mm width. The elongated face sits centered on the finger with the navette running vertically, which is the natural and only correct resting position for this form.
CENDAVERA is sized from a standard size 7 base and available across a full range. The face measures 30–32mm in height and 12–14mm in width — it is a statement ring and presents as one. The satin gold shank sits flat against adjacent fingers without catching. The resin face is smooth and slightly warm to the touch.
On the hand: the navette runs vertically, drawing the eye along the length of the finger. The effect is architectural. The hand reads as more deliberate with it than without it.
Choosing Your Gold
18K yellow gold has a richer, deeper yellow tone and greater density. 14K is slightly lighter in color and weight, and marginally more resistant to surface marking over time. Both are in satin finish. The choice is personal — 18K for maximum warmth and material presence, 14K for daily wearability across more varied contexts.
Palette
Red ochre is a warm, deeply saturated earth tone. It performs best against equally warm or strongly contrasting palettes.
Ivory, cream, and bone as clean contrast ground
Camel, rust, and warm brown to sit within the earth tone register
Deep black for the strongest contrast — the red ochre reads most powerfully here
Burgundy and deep olive as evening companions
Avoid cool pastels and silver-toned fabrics — they work against the warmth of both the resin and the gold
In Fabric
Structured silk, fine wool, tailored cotton, and linen. Fabrics with a clean surface that does not compete with the ring's face. Nothing heavily textured at the hand.
How to Wear It
CENDAVERA speaks before you do. Wear it on the right hand, index or middle finger, where gesture carries it into view. Nothing else on the same hand. A clean cuff or a single band on the opposite hand if needed.
For evening, a single ring on a bare hand is the complete look. For day, let the ring be the only jewelry above the waist. It has already said what needs to be said.
