PRODUCTION & LEAD TIME

Every Crown of Sadie piece is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Nothing is pulled from a shelf. Your piece enters production only after your order is placed — crafted individually by hand in New York City.

Please allow 6 to 8 weeks from the date of your order to completion. For OATH & HEIR commissions, timelines are discussed individually during the intake process and may range from 8 to 16 weeks depending on complexity.

You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a second notification when your piece ships.

 

SHIPPING

All completed pieces ship via insured priority carrier within the United States. Once your piece is ready, please allow 3 to 5 business days for delivery.

Every shipment is fully insured for the complete value of the piece during transit. A signature will be required upon delivery.

Tracking information will be sent to the email address on file as soon as your piece ships.

We do not currently offer international shipping. If you are located outside the United States and are interested in a piece, please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

 

PACKAGING

Every Crown of Sadie piece arrives as part of The Crown Jewels Experience — our signature unboxing that includes the jewelry piece, a visual artwork, and a music element. The packaging is designed to honor the meaning of the piece, not just protect it.

No additional gift wrapping is necessary.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Because every piece is made to order and crafted specifically for you, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.

We understand this is a meaningful purchase. That is why we encourage you to review all product details, dimensions, materials, and sizing information carefully before placing your order. If you have any questions at all — about scale, weight, fit, or feel — please reach out through our Contact page before purchasing. We would rather spend time answering your questions upfront than have you receive something that does not feel right.

For OATH & HEIR commissions, the process includes dedicated approval milestones specifically designed to ensure your piece is exactly what you envisioned before production is finalized.

 

SIZING CONCERNS

If a ring or bracelet does not fit as expected, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will evaluate whether resizing is possible for your specific piece. Resizing availability depends on the design, materials, and construction of the piece.

If resizing is possible, it will be performed at our cost for the first adjustment. Please allow an additional 2 to 4 weeks for resizing and return shipping. The piece must be in unworn, original condition.

 

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PIECES

If your piece arrives damaged during shipping or with a structural defect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the issue and the original packaging.

We will arrange a return, evaluate the piece, and either repair or replace it at no cost to you. Shipping for damaged or defective returns is fully covered by Crown of Sadie.

 

LIFETIME STRUCTURAL WARRANTY

Every Crown of Sadie piece is backed by a lifetime structural warranty.

This covers any structural failure resulting from craftsmanship — a setting that loosens, a clasp that fails, a join that separates under normal wear. If your piece experiences a structural issue at any point in its life, contact us. We will repair it at no cost.

This warranty does not cover cosmetic wear consistent with normal use, such as surface scratching on gold, minor patina development on silver, or gradual softening of resin and enamel surfaces over time. These are natural characteristics of fine materials and are part of how the piece lives with you.

 

CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund, provided production has not yet begun. After 24 hours, or once production has started, cancellations are not accepted.

For OATH & HEIR commissions, the 50% deposit is non-refundable once the design process has moved past the intake and approval stage.
